I rented a house but couldn't live in it because it needed repairs done like plumbing, sewer, and electrical.
Plumbing Repairs November 25th, 2008The state paid for the first month and security deposit of the the house but I still couldn't give up my other place because the repairs were not done. I paid the rent and I tried to do the repairs the best I could plus I tried to hire license plumber and electrians but I didn't own the house they wouldn't come out. The owner didn't want to fix it. The owner was going to let me buy the house. It was going to be my first house. I was being harassed by lot of people and I had them on tape and I had proof of the things to back me up but there was a fire after I wrote to the President and I lost everything expect a few important tapes. Please give me some answers no one has been answering anything for me. The owner of the house worked for the city and his friends were the inspectors and law enforcers so who can I trust? and Where can I go for the help to get the answers? Plus I had proof of the miss treatment of my son when the police and other lied so my son was taken away and put in abus
Sounds like you have multiple issues… The only yhing I can think of is to contact your congressman and hopefully he/she can help. I'm sorry that you're going through this hell.

If you RENTED the house, then its the responsiblilty of the OWNER to get the repairs done, not yours! And if the STATE PAID for the first month, then your LANDLORD owes you the second month free!! because you werent in there for the first month.
First off, you lied to HUD, about the rent.
Second you should have the State Highway Patrol investigate the Police and get your son back!!
Now, you arent going to get the house or anything else, so Contact HUD and tell them what is happening, and get on with your life…
I wish you well..
Jesse

Most states have tenant law that you can access via the internet. Do a search on Landlord/Tenant Law/Your State name. You should have done this right away, but it may not be too late. Take it to the State, and out of your City/County if possible.

you said that you have people tell you things and harressing you on tape I found out from a lawyer in Tennessee that if you record a conversation on the phone that you must tell the person that you are recording that they "may" be recorded at any time so that you can use it in court if you need to you only need to tell them once but if you fail to give that one little phrase then the tapes can not be used in court and are of no use. hope that everything sorts itself out for you and things get better
